An event that will symbolize the first day of events, Flag Decorating is meant to capture each country’s—or department’s—true essence. Do you have what it takes to design a piece of cloth that embodies your country’s spirit? Do you have a true artist in your midst that has the vision to put your stamp on the ground of our very own Thunderdome, so to speak?

Parade of Nations

The Parade of Nations is a historic tradition that began with the London Olympics held in 1908. It was devised as a ritual that gave each country a stage to showcase its culture, history, and achievements in a whirl of colors to signify its stand on the global scale. Now considered a conventional part of the opening ceremony, the Parade of Nations witnesses each delegation marching through the stadium showing off their nation’s name, team, and flag – the latter of which is usually held by a notable athlete from the delegation.

Let The Games Begin

The Flag Decoration is the occasion where every participating contingent marks their territory in the epic battle of wills and skills that is yet to come. To set the stage for the opening ceremony of LinkNow Olympics, each country will be tasked with giving concrete form to its Olympic spirit and will have a few days to create its flag as the events begin! Anyone from the team can help make the flag!

Do Your Due-ty

During the event, every country will put forth a representative to showcase its flag. Each star athlete will be given 60 seconds to explain the elements of the flag that exhibit their department’s distinct virtues and values. We will have a panel of judges that will inspect all flags to determine the winner of the event. This occasion is the perfect way to mark yourself as a formidable competitor to contend with in the games to come. Please note that a digital copy of the flag is required.
