Welcome one and all to the 2022 LinkNow Olympics!
What began as a friendly talent show among coworkers has grown into a fierce competition that pits keyboard warriors against SEO experts; the nerdy against the wordy; introverts against extroverts! Virtual athletes from all around the globe will gather at the LinkNow compound to see who is the best at a wide variety of challenges, ranging from spelling bees to beer chugging. If you think you have what it takes to bring home the gold for your country, then sign up for an event and show us what you got!
For the Love of the Game—and Prizes!
This year’s games promise to be exciting, whether you are a spectator or a participator. We will be hosting some of the best Tetris players, trivia buffs, and cake decorators to see who comes out on top. And these contestants are fighting for much more than glory—the winners of each event have a chance to help their home country take home some medals and prizes!
Look Out for Our Mascot: Devy Dewdrops
The LinkNow Olympics would not be possible without the undocumented labour of one of Santa’s hard-ish working elves, Devy Dewdrops. We are extremely grateful for all of the work that Devy has put into making these games possible, so in lieu of a paycheck, we have decided to make him the official mascot of the winter games! Keep an eye out for your favourite elf during this year’s competition (and don’t hesitate to smack him on the back of the head if you catch him slacking on the job).
Keep it Civil, People!
If you have attended a LinkNow event before, then you know that our fans can be quite… boisterous. Bearing this in mind, we would like to remind all of our athletes and attendees to treat opposing countries with respect. As a virtual event, we don’t have to worry about any items being thrown—but remember that words can hurt just as much as rocks and empty bottles.
Now that that’s out of the way—get ready to crush your competition into the ground! Let the games begin!
