Event Schedule

Friday, Dec 16th:

11:00 AM: Best Flag

  • 1 representative from each team shows off their design that their team have had a few days to make
  • Show off for 60 seconds and explain what we are looking at one at a time.
  • Panel of judges will determine winners after all flags have been shown.
  • (flags must be digital so we can put them on the website)

12:00 PM: Trivia Event

  • 30 multiple choice questions.
  • Hands up on camera! No cheating!
  • Each contestant will hold up their answers at the same time
  • Most points gets gold, silver, bronze

1:15 PM: Krunker (FPS Shooter videogame)

  • Each Athlete logs into Krunker and joins the same lobby
  • FFA Deathmatch. 2 rounds 15 min each
  • Most points gets gold silver bronze

3:15: Athletic Triathlon

  • Each athlete goes 1 at a time. 1 judge with a stopwatch. 1 judge counting reps and calling out poor form
  • 20 push ups. 25 sit ups. 30 jumping jacks.
  • Top 3 times get gold silver bronze

Monday, Dec 19th:

11:00 AM: Silly Pet Tricks

  • 1 representative from each team must create a video showing off their pet hopefully doing a trick!
  • Video must be no longer than 3 minutes. And be submitted to the Olympic committee 24 hours before the event.
  • you are in the video so we know its your pet.
  • Play video for judges one at a time.
  • Panel of judges will determine winners after all pet videos have been shown.

12:00 PM: Cookie Monster

  • 1 Athlete must eat 12 Oreos, a small bag of Doritos (45g bag) and chug a can of mountain dew as fast as possible
  • 1 athlete at a time
  • Contestants must get their own snacks
  • Each contestant must clearly have items in view before eating
  • Best 3 times get gold, silver, bronze

1:15 PM: Tetris

  • Each Athlete logs into tetr.io and joins the same lobby. The link will be given in chat.
  • Round 1 – bottom 3 get eliminated.
  • Round 2 - bottom 3 get eliminated.
  • Round 3 – top 4 compete for gold silver bronze

3:15: Puzzle Triathlon 

  • All 10 athletes compete at the same time to see who can complete 3 puzzles the fastest
  • Jigsaw, word search and slider puzzle
  • Top 3 finishes that post their screencap of the victory screen get gold silver bronze

Tuesday, Dec 20th:

11:00 AM: Synchronized Teams-ing

  • 2 representatives from each country team up to perform a choreographed dance on teams.
  • They must have their song selection to max in mp3 format 24 hours before the event starts.
  • Dance must be between 1 and 5 minutes
  • Teams will go one at a time for the judges.
  • Panel of judges will determine winners after all dancers have danced.

12:00 PM: Spelling Bee

  • Athletes take turns trying to spell words out loud.
  • There will be rounds. Each round everyone will have a chance to spell a word unless previously eliminated.
  • Each contestant must have their hands up in view of camera when getting their word. No cheating.
  • Last 3 standing get gold silver bronze.

1:15 PM: Poker  

  • Each athlete must log into the poker lobby link will be sent in chat
  • Tournament style. No buy backs.
  • 5000 chips
  • Blinds go up every 8 minutes and they start at 25/50!
  • Last 3 standing get gold silver bronze.

4:15: Beer Chugging

  • All athletes take turns chugging beer.
  • Must show up to event with 2 bottles of Heineken beer. Standard bottle size.
  • We are watching for spillage be careful
  • Bottles must be sealed, and opened live on camera.
  • Alcoholic or non alcoholic allowed
  • After chugging your 2 beers, you cannot drink ANY more alcohol for the duration of your shift.
  • Athletes go one at a time. Must chug out of bottle directly. Also must show both bottles are empty by turning bottles upside down after time has been called.
  • If you are running this event you must SWEAR to not drive until 2 hours after the event or longer if you are not feeling well enough to drive. ONLY responsible athletes may join.
  • Fastest 3 times get gold silver bronze

Wednesday, Dec 21st:

11:00 AM: Cake Decorating 

  • 1 representative from each team must create a video showing off their creation.
  • Video is either a timelapse of the whole thing OR the video must show ingredients, show ingredients in use, show baking, show decorating, show finished product all with your face in it. No internet cake videos!
  • Athletes must provide baking ingredients and supplies
  • Play video for judges one at a time.
  • Panel of judges will determine winners after all cake videos have been shown

12:00 PM: Name that tune with Devy Dewdrops 

  • Athletes all watch Devy Dewdrops dance to 50 songs
  • Athletes must type into chat the name of the tune as soon as they know it. First to answer gets a point.
  • Once a song has been identified a new one will start right away
  • Most points get gold, silver bronze.

1:15 PM: Poetry Slam  

  • Each athlete must come with a prepared ORIGINAL poem (poems don’t have to rhyme)
  • One at a time they read their poem for the audience/judges
  • 5 min tops
  • Judges will determine the winners
  • Top 3 judge scores will be given gold, silver, bronze

3:15: Best Rube Goldberg Machine Inventor  

  • All athletes must create a rube Goldberg machine before the event (google it if you don’t know what that is)
  • They must record their machine in action from start to finish. They must appear in the video at some point. No stolen videos from the internet.
  • Videos must be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes long.
  • Athletes will show video one at a time to the audience/judges
  • Top 3 highest judge scores get gold silver bronze.

Thursday, Dec 22nd:

9:00 AM Pokemon Tournament

  • Will happen on pokemonshowdown.com
  • No account needed
  • Format will be gen 8 random battle. Your team is picked for you but it is fair. A true test of a pokemasters skill.
  • Bracket style tournament. The 4 countries with the lowest medal count will play an extra game.

11:00 AM: Virtual Talent show

  • If your country has an athlete (or multiple athletes) that has a talent or silly trick, they can sign up for the virtual talent show event!
  • Acts must be less than 3 minutes and must be work appropriate
  • Acts must be able to perform live on webcam or submit a video. If a video, the video must be new and made for this event!
  • Acts must sign up 24 hours before the event. No late entries allowed.
  • This is the only event where there can be multiple winners from the same country!
  • Judges will determine the winners
  • Top 3 highest scores get gold, silver and bronze

12:00 PM: Scavenger hunt

  • Wes will provide each team with a list of items
  • Teams will take pictures of items and compile them in an email and send to wes
  • Wes will look at the fastest entries first but may choose to disqualify based on controversial circumstances.
  • Wes will decide who gets gold silver and bronze

12:30: Closing ceremonies

  • Winners will be announced
  • We all say bye bye for the year!
