Rules

Here are the rules for this years event. Not following these rules may result in a penalty for your country. Please be a good sport and help make things easier for the Olympic committee by following and understanding these rules!

  • Athletes must be preselected and submitted to the Olympic committee by Wednesday the 14th at 5 PM. A schedule of events and their times can be found on linknowolympics.com
  • We are using the same teams we did for Halloween! Local and opening are no longer split in 2, they each have their entire departments. If you are part of a smaller department and you forget where you go, just ask!
  • There is a page on this website called "event sign up sheet". Your team captain has the password. This form is what you will use to select athletes for each event. It can only be filled out once. Managers are allowed to compete!
  • When selecting athletes do your best to make sure we don't see the same person in every single event.
  • IF you are chosen for your event, you MUST have a working webcam on for the event unless you are told turn it off.
  • If you are chosen for an event that has requirements such as beer chugging for example, the athlete is responsible for getting their own beer.
  • If your event requires a video submission you must have that video in 24 hours before your event takes place.
  • If you get caught cheating your team loses THREE of your best medals and your prize will be cut in half. You are also not able to run any other events and you will forever be labeled a cheater cheater pumpkin eater by all of linknow media and we will judge you. Openly. It goes in your HR file and if you cheated at Halloween, its already in there.
  • If you are the athlete for an event, you have your mangers permission to see the event to its completion. Most events start on breaks but will go into the work day a bit.
  • All events will be recorded and posted to the website for you to see later that day.
  • If an Athlete suddenly has to drop out of an event a replacement may be sent. Please notify the Olympic committee of any changes as soon as possible.
  • Olympic standings will be updated after each event. The country with the most medals will win prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd Also. Real ACTUAL custom medals have been ordered and will be shipped to our gold, silver and bronze winners for every event!
  • Some events will have judges.  The judges are unbiased in their opinions and have vetted by The official linknow Olympic games committee. Please respect their decisions.
